Young Cricket Collective Course

Dorset Cricket is excited to launch the ECB’s Young Cricket Collective, a NEW national programme for young volunteers who want to make a difference in their club and community.

We’re inviting 14-18 year olds from cricket clubs across Dorset to sign up to the Young Cricket Collective and attend one of our upcoming programmes where we are running in‑person training sessions.

On completion of the training, young volunteers will then record their volunteer hours over the summer, before then gaining the Young Cricket Collective certificate.

As part of this programme, participants will:

• Train as a Young Activator, Young Official, and Young Club Leader
• Build confidence and leadership skills
• Meet other young people who love cricket
• Receive unique kit, merchandise and certificates from the County

When: Friday 3rd April 2026 - 9.30am to 3.30pm

Where: Dorset Cricket Centre, Avon Causeway, Hurn, Christchurch, BH23 6DY

Cost: £35 - which includes ECB Young Cricket Collective merchandise: Branded track suit, hat, notebook and pen

Registration deadline: 23rd March at 9am

When: Monday 4th May 2026 - 9.30am to 4pm

Where: Bryanston School Sports Centre, Bryanston School, Blandford, DT11 0PX

Cost: £35 - which includes ECB Young Cricket Collective merchandise: Branded track suit, hat, notebook and pen
