ECB Advanced Coach: Applications Now Live

We are delighted to announce that the ECB Coach Development are now accepting applications for the ECB Advanced Coach for Autumn and Winter 2025.

The deadline for submitting applications is 14^th July 2025 at 9am.

In order to apply for the programme, each applicant must:

• Be a resident of England or Wales
• Be working with players and teams in professional, performance and talent pathway environments and/or those working outside of but coaching a volume of talent pathway players who are in these environments
• Hold one of the following minimum qualifications:
• ECB Core Coach
• ECB Coach Award (UKCC Level 2)
• ECB Certificate in Coaching Children’s Cricket (UKCC Level 2)
• ECB Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults’ Cricket (UKCC Level 2)
• ECB Level 2 qualification



Please note the ECB do NOT accept overseas coaching qualifications.

The ECB are strongly recommending and encouraging applicants to include an endorsement to support their application for the programme.

The letter of endorsement can be from a County Cricket Club, County Cricket Board or ECB partners such as PCA, SACA or ACE and leaders across either the Men’s or Women’s game. Examples of these roles include Director of Cricket, Head Coach, Head of Talent Pathway, Coach Development Lead etc.

The evidence of endorsement can be provided in a letter or email in a PDF/Word document format and can be submitted by the applicant via the Smartsheet link on the application form.
