The Cricket Collective Award winners for 2026 have been decided in Dorset!

Volunteers perform such an important role in helping to make cricket happen week in, week out. The Cricket Collective Awards aim to reward and recognise the fantastic work these volunteers do in their communities.

Category winners in Dorset are submitted to the ECB to be considered for the national Cricket Collective Awards.

Lifetime Services to Coaching - Steve Bailey (Dorset Dolphins VI Team)

Newcomer of the Year - Elsie Ray (Blandford)

Official of the Year - John MacDiarmid (Poole Town)

Raising the Game - Marc Hayter (Witchampton)

Sustainability Innovator - Bere Regis Cricket Club

The Metro Bank Champion of Girls Cricket - Kelly Williams (Verwood)

Unsung Hero - Nichola Pack (Bournemouth)

Young Cricket Collective Champion - Charlotte Batten (Stalbridge)

Each award winner will receive:

  • a Cricket Collective Awards winners certificate
  • tickets to the Dorset Cricket League Awards Evening 2026
  • tickets to a Somerset CCC match
  • a nomination to the ECB national awards
